My name is J. Rodriguez and I would like to start with announcing how extremely grateful I am to be unanimously selected to be a recipient of your Bless-A-Family program. I have been struggling so bad the past few months. Unfortunately I haven't been able to pay my rent on time. The building I rent from had sent me to court, so on top of paying the remainder of my rent… plus the late fees I also had to find a way to come up with $250 for court fees. With all the stress of needing extra funds to catch up on my rent and bills, I decided to pick up another job as an Uber driver. I had started Friday. If I can be completely honest, I was so scared to drive random people around and especially around 1, 2, 3 o'clock in the morning. Each ride I had to make I made sure I stayed in prayer and stayed focus. The world is a scary place but my God is bigger and will protect me and give me the strength to work 2 jobs while in school. When I opened the letter I couldn’t even read past the 3 rd sentence without crying and feeling numb. I am extremely grateful for this blessing. Words can't even justified what kind of stress is lifted off my shoulders. The 1st thought that came to mind was “he does love me”. He saw my pain, he saw my tears, he knew my heart, he saw how much I am investing on learning about him and His ways, so he blessed me. Thank you so much may God Bless you always!!
